The vulnerability of young girls in the Northwest and Southwest regions of Cameroon to become victims of this hideous and heinous crime has continued to increase especially given the present socio-political climate at the moment. Parents and guardians of children watch out. Most often the perpetrator is not far away. It might be a friend to the family, an uncle, a neighbor. It could also be a complete stranger.
Many families have become host to Internally Displaced People. The fabrics of our families might no longer be the same. Many things might happened in our homes without our knowledge. As parents and guardians lets take the responsibility to educate ourselves on the phenomenon of child sex trafficking as well well as our children and other young girls we might be in contact with.
