In the evening of Saturday August 20th, 2011 a strange aura was witnessed at Ayaba Hotel Bamenda venue of the 2th edition of the Life Time Magazine Achievement Awards for 2011. Chongsi Ayeah Joseph, Executive Director of Centre for Human Rights and Peace Advocacy, CHRAPA has been confirmed as a Certified International Elections Observer with competence in the Africa regime.

Delegate laments over women's low political participation

The South West delegate of women's empowerment and the family, Meffuh Judith has remarked that the average participation of women in Sub-Saharan Africa in active politics since the advent of multi-party politics is only 15%.

This percentage she reiterated, falls below the minimum goal of 30% stipulated by the Beijing Declaration and the African Platform for Action.
