The South West delegate of women's empowerment and the family, Meffuh Judith has remarked that the average participation of women in Sub-Saharan Africa in active politics since the advent of multi-party politics is only 15%.
This percentage she reiterated, falls below the minimum goal of 30% stipulated by the Beijing Declaration and the African Platform for Action.
